Gynecomastia can have many causes. The main reasons are hormone diseases, thyroid diseases such as goiter, some major aloral diseases, long use of certain drugs or substances and excessive weight gain that can lead to testosterone deficiency or estrogen increase. Most of the time, the exact cause is unknown. Gynecomastia is treated after the adolescence period is completed and hormonal balance is restored. Gynecomacrate can lead to an increase in breast tissue, as well as increased breast lubrication in most men.
Gynecomastia can be divided into three types.
Type 1: Glandular Gynecomastia: male breast has glandular tissue that is similar to female breast but does not produce milk, only gynecomastia glandular type seen with increased tissue is called. Glandular gynecomastia is usually seen due to diseases.
Type 2: Fatty Gynecomastia: there is no increase in gland tissue, only an increase in breast area lubrication. It's usually alcohol or often causes you to gain and lose weight.
Type 3: Mixed Type Gynecomastia, i.e. the coexistence of both glandular and oily types.
Unfortunately, there are no medications for gynecomastia. Many treatment techniques have been described surgically. For glandular type gynecomastia, an open surgery is performed from the nipple and after this operation, the scar in the form of a smiley face is left at the bottom of the nipple and becomes uncertain over time. The most suitable surgical liposuction to be selected for the oily type. For mixed type, if liposuction is not sufficient, it can be added to the pitiful surgical technical treatment. In vaser liposuction, sound waves are applied into excess fat tissues in the breast with special probes.
